HomeDock OS Code of Conduct

As a user of HomeDock OS, you are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct to ensure that the platform remains safe, compliant, and reliable for all users. Non-compliance may result in restricted access, suspension, or termination of your account. By accessing HomeDock OS, you agree to the following guidelines:

Use HomeDock OS solely to host legal and authorized content. Users must not upload, host, or distribute any content or software that infringes upon copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. All hosted content must comply with applicable local, national, and international laws.
Do not use your instance for any fraudulent, unauthorized, or harmful activities, such as unauthorized access, data tampering, or attempts to bypass security protocols. Users are expected to uphold the integrity of the platform by using their instances responsibly and ethically.
Prioritize the security and privacy of your instance. Users are solely responsible for securing their data, applications, and content, including creating backups, monitoring activities, and implementing safeguards against unauthorized access.
Provide accurate and honest information during account setup and configuration. Misrepresentation, impersonation, or providing false information to the platform at any time is strictly prohibited.
Respect the privacy of other users. Do not interact with or attempt to access other users' instances or data without permission. Any such attempt constitutes a severe violation.
Avoid using automated tools, scripts, or bots to access, monitor, or extract data from the platform without explicit authorization. Any attempt to automate actions or interactions within the platform without permission is a serious violation and may result in suspension or termination.
Ensure that any platform resources, such as bandwidth and storage, are used responsibly. Activities should not negatively impact the performance or stability of the platform for other users. Resource abuse may lead to service limitations, account restrictions, or other corrective actions.
Prohibited malicious content. Hosting, distributing, or allowing the spread of malicious content, such as malware, viruses, or spyware, that can harm the platform or users' devices, is strictly forbidden.
Responsible public content sharing. If any content hosted on HomeDock OS is shared publicly, ensure it complies with platform standards and does not contain misleading, inappropriate, or harmful information.
Ethical use of community and support resources. Misuse of support channels, such as spam, harassment, or disruption of forums or customer service, will not be tolerated.
No circumvention of platform restrictions. Attempts to bypass restrictions, such as IP blocks, account limitations, or service caps, are strictly prohibited.
Confidentiality of sensitive information. Users handling sensitive data are responsible for protecting it adequately. HomeDock OS is not liable for data exposure due to inadequate security practices by users.
Compliance with additional terms. Certain applications and services on HomeDock OS may have specific terms of use. Users are responsible for adhering to these additional terms when using such services.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in enforcement actions, including access restrictions, account suspension, or termination, along with the removal of any infringing content. HomeDock OS reserves the right to enforce these guidelines to maintain a secure, fair, and ethical platform for all users.
